Earn a British degree with international recognition

A British degree can give your academic achievements a profile that travels beyond your home country. Studying through this partnership connects your work to a UK university while allowing you to remain in Morganton, United States.

Whether your ambitions involve leadership, consulting or further research, an internationally recognised British credential can help you communicate the level of study you have undertaken. Recognition for a particular job or professional purpose will depend on the relevant employer or authority.

Study 100% online, with an Executive Diploma stage that can take as little as 3–6 months

The online format lets you pursue advanced study without relocating or commuting to campus. The Executive Diploma stage can be completed in as little as 3–6 months, giving you an opportunity to build research momentum alongside your existing commitments.

That timeframe refers to the diploma stage, not completion of a PhD, which requires a longer research journey. You can make progress from Morganton while planning each stage around your goals and circumstances.

Learn without fixed online attendance times

Your schedule should not have to stop your education. With no requirement to be online at specific times and dates, you can engage with learning materials when it works for you—before the workday, after family commitments or during a quieter weekend.

This flexibility is especially valuable when professional demands change from week to week. You can organise your study around applicable coursework deadlines without having to attend live online sessions at fixed hours.

Take your studies wherever you go

Living in Morganton does not limit where learning can happen. You can study from anywhere in the world, keeping your research ambitions with you through business travel, holidays or a change in routine.

The mobile app lets you download study materials and watch lectures offline. That means a journey without reliable internet access can still become useful study time, helping you stay connected to your goals while on the move.

Show your thinking through open-book assessments

Open-book assessments offer an alternative to classical question-and-answer exams. Rather than relying only on recall under exam conditions, you can draw on sources and develop a considered response to a problem or question.

For an aspiring researcher, that approach can make assessment feel closely connected to the work of evaluating evidence, building arguments and communicating conclusions. It offers room to demonstrate how you use knowledge, not simply how much you can memorise.

Learn from internationally educated faculty

The programme’s tutors and faculty include graduates of world-renowned universities such as Oxford, Harvard, EPFL, the University of Basel and Washington University in St. Louis. Their varied academic backgrounds can bring a breadth of perspectives to your learning.

As you develop your own research interests, exposure to experienced educators can help you question assumptions, strengthen your methods and approach complex ideas with greater confidence.

Join a global learning community

Study alongside a diverse student base drawn from more than 130 countries. Conversations across professions, cultures and time zones can challenge your thinking and help you see how research ideas may be applied internationally.

Alumni work for organisations including Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Chevron, Verizon, JW Marriott, The Ritz, Hilton, University of California Riverside, Abbott Laboratories, AbbVie, the United Nations, Google, ICRC, the World Bank, Microsoft, Intel, Samsung, Tencent, Siemens and Sony. Their career paths illustrate the range of settings in which members of this international community work.

Plan your payments with interest-free instalments

Investing in further study is an important decision. Programme fees can be paid in up to 18 monthly interest-free instalments, giving you a way to spread the cost over time.

That payment flexibility may make it easier to plan your studies alongside other commitments. Review the applicable payment terms as you consider the programme and the pace that suits you.

Put research to work from Morganton

Morganton and the wider Burke County area have deep roots in furniture production and manufacturing. For professionals in these sectors, advanced research skills can support evidence-led questions about operations, workforce development, product strategy and changing markets. The programme’s theory can provide a framework for investigating challenges whose relevance extends well beyond one location.

Healthcare is another important part of the area’s economy. Graduates working in healthcare organisations or related services could use stronger research capabilities to assess evidence, examine processes and communicate findings that inform decisions. The ability to frame a clear question and evaluate information carefully is valuable wherever people and organisations face complex choices.

For Morganton professionals building businesses, managing teams or working across industries, research expertise can create space to test ideas before acting on them. Whether your next step is a larger leadership role, a new project or a long-term academic ambition, you can develop your approach from where you live while thinking on an international scale.
